My name is Robert Deforest. I used to work as an ocean surveyor for the United States Marine Biology Institute. I loved my job but I had to leave due to an ear infection that grew while I was on base in the middle of the ocean. I tried to head back to land as soon as possible but it was a bit too late. They were able to clean everything up, but by the time I got to the doctors, my infection had already grown in to tinnitus. At the start, I couldn’t stand the noise but I grew to be more tolerable when it came to it. It was a condition that I had to learn to live with. I stayed with the Marine Biology Institute for a bit to do some research on shore but a couple of months later, after finishing my research, I decided to go back home for a while and went back to New York.
When I went back, I met this amazing man named Michael Woods. We met at the pharmacy when he overheard me talking about my tinnitus condition. Little did I know that the eavesdropping creep actually had the same condition and found a new way to treat it. He started talking to me about a product he was doing research on and asked if I was willing to give some feedback on it. I agreed and helped. It was at this point that I knew that he and his friends were on to something good. I shortly asked him if I could be part of his team and work as a sales agent or something similar. Mike not only took me in but also offered me the position for head of sales.
In 2016, we launched Quart with the product that helped all of us out, Tranquillis. Within a couple of years, I saw our sales channels grow exponentially fast than other companies.
